Based in the Flat Iron District of Manhattan, Oskar Martinez retains over four decades of creative and commercial photography expertise. Throughout his career, his clients have included global companies such as J.P. Morgan Chase, De Beers, Holiday Inn International, Xerox Corporation, Staples, Poland Spring, Pfizer, Revlon, L’Oreal, Max Factor and more.

Notable among his projects is the ground-breaking series of black-and-white portraits of more than 30 centenarians (100 year olds) for Genworth Financial.  He has also been recognized for his work on the Liminal Observations project, shown at a solo exhibition The National Arts Club in New York City.

Oskar's commercial work has also been the recipient of awards by the Arts Club and the AAF-ADDY. Publications featuring his work include Newsweek, The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, Forbes, Money and The New England Journal of Medicine.

Currently, Oskar is working on a series of urban portraits depicting the variety and ethnicity of American urban society. He is also looking forward to an exhibition titled "The Bus Stop" a look at the unheralded American worker. Other highly acclaimed projects have included his artistic interpretations of historical prosthetics from the National Museum of Health and Medicine at the Walter Reed National Military Medical Center in Washington, DC.

Born in South America, Oskar came to New York City and has since achieved his experience and education from the American melting pot. He holds degrees in Economics, Fine Arts and Photography from the School of Visual Arts in Manhattan.

Whether shooting portraits, still life, real life or landscapes, Oskar’s authentic and unique vision is clear in his photography.
